For the trimming sequence die of stamping parts, it is easy to have the upper die clamp with material in the commissioning stage. The main reasons are as follows:

1. The pressing core cannot play the role of pressing parts and returning materials: the force on the pressing core is uneven, there is a gap in the guide, and the material will not be returned if it is stuck;

2. Insufficient pressing core return force after trimming;

3. After trimming, the workpiece is deformed and stuck in the pressing core.

The improvement and preventive measures of trimming belt clamping parts are as follows:

1. Problem solving

1) The gap between the guide plate and the guide sliding surface can be adjusted in case that the pressure core is stuck and cannot be returned normally due to uneven stress and incorrect guidance of the pressure core.

2) The spring arrangement position and replacement spring specification shall ensure uniform stress.

3) Pressing core guide: guide the pressing core, mainly to ensure the clearance between the pressing core and the edge of the die, generally 0.5mm.

4) Core pressing stroke: the core pressing stroke requires that the workpiece be pre compressed before cutting edge; Shearing before pressing the workpiece is easy to cause deformation, trimming, tearing, clamping, etc. Before the die contacts the stamping part, the pre pressing stroke of the pressing core shall be ≥ 10mm.

2. Problem solving

1) The return force varies with plate thickness and shape, which is generally 4-20% of the blanking force.

2) At the same time, when there is vertical cutting in the trimming die, the material return force needs to be increased.

3) The force source is preferably a spring, and the force source is arranged close to the working part; For those with small requirements for material return force, polyurethane can be used for automotive stamping parts to provide material return force.

4) Calculation of force. Spring pressure f = KL, K is related to spring section shape, internal and external diameter size and spring steel material performance, and l is the deformation; The pressure of nitrogen spring changes almost linearly. It has the advantages of no preloading, large initial pressure, small space occupation, long service life and response frequency of more than 40 times per minute.

3. Aiming at the problem

1) If the mold lapping is not in place, resulting in part deformation, the mold can be lapping to solve the problem of part deformation and clamping.

2) Add a spring jacking pin in the pressure core to locate the workpiece out of the pressure core.
